The scheme initiated under Digital India Programme is detailed as below:
Objective: IBPS envisaged under digital India Programme, seeks to incentivize establishment of BPO/ITES operations across the country. IBPS intends to create employment opportunities for the youth in BPO/ITES operations and promote investment in IT/ITES sector in order to expand the base of IT Industry & secure balanced regional growth
Incentives:
IBPS aims to establish 48,300 seats in respect of BPO/ITES operations across the country
Capital support up to 50% of one-time expenditure incurred on admissible items in the form of Viability Gap Funding for eligible companies up to Rs 1 Lakh per seat.
Incentive for diversity & inclusion(women & persons with disability)
Incentive for providing employment beyond target
Incentive for wider dispersal within state including rural areas other than the State Capital
Incentive for promoting local entrepreneur
Special package for hilly states(HP, J&K & UK)
